Strong Is the New Skinny
I have body image struggles for most of my life. I often with my body to its natural state support – muscular, but not much in the uh, … Department chest, and I said, muscular? For a long time, I ACHED be a tall, thin, delicate body type. After much practice, I finally learned to love my body as it is, and embrace my natural muscle. Now I mainly heavy lifting, short intervals of cardio, walking and yoga. I am comfortable in my body. I feel strong. I say that your body is a much better guide than any fitness guru fitness is there. It helps the workout perfect for you.)
This disconnection has played a big role in my weight gain. I was happy about the weight of my body. I am strong physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. In high school, my friend called me on the swim team “muscles”. Literally. I think the way we treat our own bodies, our bodies, and feel in our bodies is so interconnected.
